Who else loves Fall?  The cooler temps, the promise of the holidays ahead? LOVE IT.  Also this time of year is my busy season.  In October I have the awards show a The Wild Bunch Film Festival in Wilcox. I'm excited as heck and am currently shopping for the clothes!  (That's always fun.)   But, I think my biggest excitement is that I've teamed up with Joe Cornet at San Rafael Productions.  I have been given the honor of novelizing his film, Promise.  If you haven't seen the film, you can find it on all streaming platforms.  Converting a screenplay into a novella has been fun and challenging.  My goal is simple.  Keep it as close to the film as possible all while giving the characters a voice.   A cover reveal and the novella will be live by October 1st.  I can't wait!   On the back burner but not forgotten is the new screenplay I've been working on.  Whiskey's Women.  I love this story and am...

I'm very happy and honored to announce that my screenplay, Blackwater Burning and also my novel, Feather and the Mountain Man are both finalist at The Wild Bunch Film Festival.  The awards show and all the film screenings are the first weekend of Octoboer. I'm so looking forward to the trip and the chance to meet all the other wonderful nominees.  I want to thank all of you that have supported all my crazy adventures and just know you are appreciated beyond measure.   The list of finalist can be found at  Click Here to Go To TWBFF

So much good news is rolling in that I don't even know where to begin. First and foremost, and definately exciting is that my screenplay for Blackwater Burning has been optioned by San Rafael Productions. To be honest, I'm still pinching myself. This is the same production company that released the western, Promise. I highly suggest for everyone to go watch Promise. You can find it on Amazon Prime and other streaming services. The movie builds as it goes and soon, like myself, you will be sucked right into the story.  The actress that played Promise Sawyer is sooo good I honestly think she should win all the awards.  Promise on Amazon Prime  I don't know any details as far as when my movie will be filmed or release dates. Just keep checking back here and I will post updates as I get them. SQUEEE!!!!! Secondly, I have just released my first ever children's book. White Fang, the Ghost Dog of Arizona is inspired by the true story told to me from my dad about his time p...

Wow! I'm freaking out a bit. My first attempt at a feature script has been nominated for the Royal Wolf Film Awards for Best Feature Script. The fact that this is just a good ol' fashioned western makes my heart soar. I am super honored. How cool is this?  Woo Hoo!!!

Hey Elite Team,  I apologize for having dropped the ball on the blog and not posting the rest of the Haunting Story. But I sort of have a great excuse. I wound up in Wilcox, Arizona for The Wild Bunch Film Festival and was nominated and WON Best Arizona Manuscript with Crawl, Larcena's Story.  You can't imagine my surprise and sheer joy. I got on stage and babbled like an idiot and then skipped my way home to Tucson. It is just so exciting. Currently, I'm converting Black Water Burning into a script and will be entering that into film festivals in 2021.  Keep an eye on my Amazon page where more than one of my books will go on Kindle Countdown or FREE.  Thank you for your patience! Much love, Elle.
